THE NUTCRACKER
December 16 & 17
TETON HIGH SCHOOL
Participation is by audition only.
Students must be enrolled in ballet level 2 and higher to be eligible to audition.
The Nutcracker ballet is centered on a family's Christmas Eve Celebration and what transpires when the young daughter, Clara, receives a Nutcracker which turns out to be magical! Based on the story by E.T.A. Hoffmann, it premiered in 1892 and has since become the most popular ballet to be performed around the holidays.
The opportunity to participate in a production of the Nutcracker is an experience that cannot be matched for a young dancer! Students who choose to participate will attend an audition to determine which part in the cast they will receive. Rehearsals will take place on designated Saturdays between October and December.
